It was Halloween Night of 2010 and my girlfriends and I decided to go out. I dressed as Little Red Riding Hood and we headed to a Halloween Party at a place called Friends Sports Tavern. Later that night I met a guy dressed as the rapper, Lil Wayne. We started talking and I thought he was sweet. At the end of the night my girlfriend and I needed a ride home and Jonathan was nice enough to give us a lift.
Once I arrived at my house I realized my Tiffany's bracelet was
missing! I ran into Jonathan again later that week and asked if he had seen it. He checked his car where thankfully the bracelet was found. Of course, I bought him a beer to thank him for finding it and ended up hanging out and talking quite a bit after that.
New Year's Day he asked me to be his girlfriend which lead to three amazing years of dating. I could not be more thankful for that bracelet today and of course to be engaged to my soon-to-be husband.
THE RYANS
Jonathan and I decided to take a trip to New York to see The Jets play and enjoy the city together. On December 6, 2013 after a few days of exploring, we ended up at Rockefeller Center in front of the infamous Christmas Tree. It was lit up so beautifully and there were a sea of people surrounding it. After getting our picture taken, Jon turned to me and started telling me how much he loved me and our last three years together. All of a sudden, he was on one knee and
asked me to marry him. It started raining and I could not stop crying, I could not believe it! Of course I said “yes” and cheers and congratulations erupted from the crowd. I received a very special early Christmas present and it is one that I will never forget. I called my parents right away and of course they already knew and Deb had already started planning the wedding!
